Philippine legal research and drafting, grounded in law and jurisprudence.
Atorni is a Philippine AI Legal Assistant. Ask any question, or work on contracts, affidavits, and other legal documents, with answers grounded in actual cases and statutes and citations you can verify.
Faster legal research and drafting for Philippine lawyers
Our mental energy belongs on strategy, the client, and the courtroom. Atorni shortens the hunt for relevant cases and laws, and gives drafts a running start, so more of that energy stays where it counts.
AI legal help that expands access to justice
AI is just a tool. We still hold the judgment, the strategy, the duty to the client. Atorni clears the busywork so more of us can reach more of the people who need a lawyer.
Built for Philippine legal practice
Atorni was built around the way the Philippine bar actually works: G.R. Nos., A.M.s, B.M.s, RAs, PDs, and the legal English we read in. It slots into our practice instead of asking us to adapt to it.
Frequently asked questions
- What is Atorni?
- Atorni is a Philippine AI Legal Assistant built for Philippine law. It answers legal questions and helps you draft and study contracts, affidavits, and other legal documents, with citations to actual Supreme Court decisions, Republic Acts, and other Philippine statutes, so you can verify every answer.
- Is Atorni free to use?
- Yes. A free tier covers lighter, everyday legal research and drafting with our faster models; paid tiers add more volume, the advanced and premium models, and document upload. Create your account on the app to start with the free tier.
- Can I upload my own documents?
- Yes, on any paid tier. Upload PDFs, Word files, or images (contracts, pleadings, case files), and Atorni reads them alongside Philippine law to answer your questions. Free accounts get the full chat and citations.
- What legal sources does Atorni use?
- Atorni draws from Supreme Court decisions (G.R. Nos., A.M. Nos., B.M. Nos.), Republic Acts, Commonwealth Acts, Presidential Decrees, Executive Orders, and other Philippine statutes published on LawPhil and the SC E-Library. We are continually expanding the corpus with more Philippine legal materials, and if there is a source you would like to see included, we would love to hear it. Just send your suggestion to hello@atorni.ph.
- Is it safe to share the details of my legal queries with Atorni?
- Atorni only uses what you type to answer your question. As a precaution, leave out names and other identifying details you do not need. You can describe a situation in general terms and still get a useful answer. On any tier you can also turn on Mask as a best-effort safeguard: it replaces names and similar personal details with neutral placeholders before your message reaches the AI, then restores them in the reply you see. You can read how we handle your data in our Privacy Policy.
- How is my data kept secure?
- Your chats and any documents you upload are encrypted under a key unique to your account, and our administrative tools provide no access to their content, so what you write stays between you and the AI answering you. We use what you share only to answer your questions. We never sell it or use it to train AI models, and every request we send to an AI model is routed only to providers that do not train on your content. When your account is deleted, your data is permanently removed.
- Are the documents I upload private?
- Yes. Documents you upload are visible only to you and encrypted in storage. Atorni uses them only to help answer your own questions. They are never shared with other users or used to train AI.
- Does Atorni understand Filipino and legal Spanish?
- Yes. Atorni understands questions in English and Filipino, and recognizes the Latin and Spanish terms that appear throughout Philippine legal texts.
Have a question we haven't covered? We'd love to hear from you at hello@atorni.ph.
